At Zappos, we are looking for a passionate and innovative individual to join our team as a User Researcher. This role is pivotal in collaborating with Product, Design, and Marketing teams to creatively uncover and investigate new opportunities that will help define product roadmaps, vision, and strategy directly related to prioritized business initiatives. As a User Researcher, you will design and conduct foundational, formative, and evaluative qualitative and quantitative user research, including field observations, interviews, and usability studies, both remote and in-person. Your advocacy for the customer will ensure that their needs and perspectives are considered in UX design decisions, product development initiatives, and long-term business strategies. You will synthesize and communicate research findings to drive understanding, user empathy, and informed business decisions across the organization. Delivering high-quality insights in a fast-paced work environment is essential, as is educating the organization on opportunities revealed by your research. This role requires a self-motivated individual who thinks like an entrepreneur, constantly innovating and driving positive change while delivering exceptional results.
