About the position
The Sr. UX Researcher will be responsible for conducting user research and analyzing data to inform product designs for a Big 5 Banking client, specifically in Global Asset Management. This role involves collaborating closely with the design team from ideation to launch, developing research plans, writing usability research screeners, and recruiting targeted end-users for research studies. The researcher will also be tasked with writing clear reports that outline research goals, methods, and results.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research and analyze data to inform product designs.
- Collaborate with the design team from ideation to launch.
- Develop a well-crafted research plan with clear objectives.
- Write usability research screeners and discussion guides.
- Recruit targeted end-users for specific research studies.
- Write clear, informative reports outlining goals, methods, and results.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of professional experience in strictly UX Research roles.
- Private sector experience.
- Experience employing various qualitative and quantitative UX Research methodologies (usability testing, unmoderated, A/B testing, interviews, surveys, etc.).
- End-to-end product experience, supporting designs from ideation to launch.
- Strong presentation skills to clearly present research and tell user stories through data.
- Ability to justify ideas in cross-functional settings and foster strong stakeholder relationships.
- Experience with financial and investment products and understanding how clients approach investments.
- Experience working on research projects involving B2C users.
- Demonstrable ability to combine analytical data and qualitative insights.
