About the position

As a Sr. Vehicle Integration Engineer at Reliable Robotics, you will be part of the Integration & Test team responsible for ensuring the proper function of mechanical, electrical, and flight control systems onboard aircraft. This role involves assisting in the design and installation of modified flight control systems for a remotely operated autoflight system, verifying system functionality, and leading test campaigns both on the ground and in flight.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and installation of modified flight control systems.
• Verify the end-to-end functionality of the system.
• Engage with multiple teams to understand vehicle capabilities.
• Act as the responsible engineer for the vehicle during flight test campaigns.
• Lead safety-critical tests and operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of integration and test experience in a professional environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work with hardware.
• Experience leading test campaigns on the ground or in flight.
• Demonstrated ability to lead safety-critical tests and operations.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience assembling components in a production environment.
• Experience assembling prototype hardware.
• Experience manufacturing mechanical and electrical (harnessing) sub-assemblies.
• Experience with computer science languages (Python or similar).
