About the position

The Sr. Vendor Management Analyst will support internal business lines by managing vendor portfolios, onboarding new vendors, performing due diligence, and conducting risk assessments. This role also involves assisting with contracts to ensure compliance with company standards and managing existing contracts effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Keep system up to date on new products, services, vendors, contracts, and clients as needed.
  • Track vendor information, contracts information, schedules, and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and distributors to leverage buying power and negotiate pricing.
  • Conduct periodic vendor reviews to ensure pricing is reviewed/re-bid regularly.
  • Prepare or assist with Request for Proposals.
  • Assist in the creation or management oversight of workflows, processes, and procedures related to vendor and contract management.
  • Research suppliers, vendors, and partners using the internet and internal databases, identifying potential suppliers, making contact, and coordinating competitive pricing.
  • Monitor renewal of contracts.
  • Ensure contracts with suppliers, vendors, and partners are consistent with company policies, guidelines, and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with business lines, vendors, and clients to ensure effective communication regarding contracts.
  • Engage vendors to obtain required documentation, NDA, W9, MSA.
  • Review agreements/SOWs/EULAs for compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but relevant work experience and/or certifications will be considered.
  • Strong customer service skills including written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, collaborative skills, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Understanding of production processes and quality requirements.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, be a self-starter, act independently, and work in groups or teams.
