About the position

The Visual Designer at Yahoo will play a crucial role in translating the brand voice into visual elements across various digital platforms. This position requires a deep understanding of design principles and the ability to deliver creative solutions that align with industry trends and user needs.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop user interface (UI) components for web and mobile applications.
• Create intuitive user interfaces that are visually appealing and easy to use.
• Work closely with product managers and developers to ensure the user interface meets requirements and aligns with user needs.
• Collaborate with the content team to ensure brand consistency across all platforms.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in graphic design/product design.
• Expert understanding of principles of design - layout, color & typography.
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma or other design software.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects at once.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong portfolio of previous work.
