We are seeking a Sr. Visual Designer to generate creative ideas and manage all graphic design tasks, refine projects and drafts, and deliver polished materials for a wide range of marketing initiatives with global reach. Working in both print and digital mediums, you will create materials that bring scientific and technical ideas to life in visually captivating ways. The ideal candidate will study creative briefs and determine requirements, conceptualize visuals based on requirements, prepare concept drafts, and present ideas to stakeholders of all levels in a compelling manner. You are equal parts conceptual thinker and detailed, meticulous doer. You have experience working in a fast-paced environment, and are highly collaborative. In this role, you will develop various print, digital, and environmental graphics, including brochures, online and print advertisements, tradeshow/conference graphics, presentations, social media, and field marketing tools. You will generate on-brand creative campaign concepts that delight audiences and illustrate icons, infographics, logos, figures, and other graphics. As a champion of the brand guidelines, you will forward the development and implementation of branded templates and assets, select and edit photography, and gather creative input from departments across the globe for internal/external collateral. You will translate ideas and concepts into functional and engaging solutions and effectively communicate ideas and rationale to stakeholders. Maintaining high quality output while keeping multiple projects on track in a fast-paced environment is crucial. You will use strong project management, communication, and collaboration skills to partner with members of the design, writing, channel, and project management teams on a daily basis, as well as stakeholders in other parts of the organization. Additionally, you will manage, maintain, and archive graphic files using Bynder DAM (digital asset management system) and contribute to sharing best practices to help the greater organization learn the vital nature of design. Participation in creative team brainstorming meetings to generate strong design concepts is also expected.
