About the position

The Senior Visual Designer at Culligan Brand Studio is a key creative leader responsible for enhancing the Culligan brand experience across various digital and physical platforms. This role involves collaboration with senior marketing and product teams to drive brand expression and execution excellence. The designer will lead strategic packaging projects and guide both internal teams and external partners, ensuring the brand's influence and impact are maximized.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for the purpose, strategy, and expression of the Culligan brand.
• Collaborate and influence design decisions through expertise and knowledge.
• Distinguish between good and bad design, ensuring high standards are met.
• Generate new ideas while maintaining established design standards.
• Accountable for the success of projects measured by business outcomes like customer acquisition and brand awareness.
• Serve as a thought leader within and outside of Culligan.
• Develop strategies, plans, and set priorities for design initiatives.
• Navigate organizational complexities effectively.
• Exceed previously created brand experiences.
• Stay updated on industry trends in brand design and marketing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Design or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of art/creative direction and creative leadership experience.
• Extensive experience leading design, production, and agency partner teams.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams including Developers, Product Managers, and Design Researchers.
• Experience with social and marketing campaigns.
• Experience creating and editing video and sound.
• Experience leading video/photo shoots for products, lifestyle, and events.
• Experience collaborating with copywriters.
• Proficient in 2D Animation applications such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, or others.
• Strong communication skills for interfacing with stakeholders about design concepts.
