About the position

The Visual Designer at Yahoo will play a crucial role in translating the brand voice into visual elements across various digital platforms. This position requires a creative individual with a strong understanding of design principles and the ability to deliver innovative solutions that align with the brand's identity. The designer will collaborate with product managers, developers, and content teams to create user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall user experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop user interface (UI) components for web and mobile applications.
• Create intuitive user interfaces that are visually appealing and easy to use.
• Work closely with product managers and developers to ensure the user interface meets requirements and aligns with user needs.
• Collaborate with the content team to ensure brand consistency across all platforms.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in graphic design/product design.
• Expert understanding of principles of design - layout, color & typography.
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma or other design software.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects at once.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong portfolio of previous work.
