About the position

The Sr. Visual UX Designer will be part of the Amazon Device and Services Design Group (DDG), focusing on enhancing customer experiences across various devices such as Echo, Fire TV, and Fire Tablets. This role emphasizes creating visually compelling and emotionally engaging designs that resonate with users, while collaborating with a talented team to uphold design excellence and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Work hands-on with a team of visual designers to create engaging digital experiences.
• Define and maintain design patterns and UX standards.
• Deliver design solutions for large-scale and complex projects.
• Visualize experiences in abstract and translate them into concise design deliverables.
• Advocate for design excellence and create emotional connections between customers and products.

Requirements

• 6+ years of design experience.
• An available online portfolio showcasing design work.
• Experience in defining and maintaining design patterns and UX standards.
• Proven experience in delivering design solutions for large-scale projects.
• Hands-on experience in visual design using tools like Figma, ProtoPie, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, InVision.
