About the position

The Sr. Visual UX Designer will join the Expression Design team within Amazon's Device and Services Design Group (DDG). This role focuses on enhancing digital experiences across various Amazon devices by integrating visual design with sensory elements. The designer will work collaboratively with a team to create engaging and emotionally resonant user experiences, advocating for design excellence and driving projects from concept to execution.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team of visual designers to create engaging user experiences.
• Define and maintain design patterns and UX standards.
• Deliver design solutions for large-scale and complex projects.
• Visualize experiences in abstract and translate them into design deliverables.
• Advocate for design excellence and create emotional connections between customers and products.

Requirements

• 6+ years of design experience.
• An available online portfolio showcasing design work.
• Experience in defining and maintaining design patterns and UX standards.
• Hands-on experience in visual design and prototyping.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, ProtoPie, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InVision.

• Experience with UX design of complex workflows.
