About the position

The Senior Product Designer role at US Tech Solutions focuses on enhancing user experience and visual design for higher education and professional learning products. The designer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the user journey, advocate for user needs, and drive the design of AI-driven teaching and learning experiences. This position requires a strategic mindset and the ability to solve complex problems elegantly while maintaining alignment with team goals.

Responsibilities

• Define and create the user experience for specific areas of our products
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams throughout the product development process
• Understand and advocate for user needs
• Define key metrics to track success and business impact
• Maintain clear team alignment around goals and priorities
• Approach an open-ended problem space with vigor and clarity
• Think holistically about the user journey and product ecosystem
• Guide user research and testing, ensuring usability and product consistency
• Be data-driven and iteratively improve the experience
• Design for AI-driven teaching and learning experiences

Requirements

• 7+ years product design experience with an online portfolio of relevant design work
• Skilled in design at the detail and systems level
• Confident communicator who can clearly articulate your process, approach, and rationale to others
• Experience designing for AI-driven experiences including LLMs
• Experience working in a collaborative team comprised of other designers, content strategists, product managers, and developers
• Prior experience defining and leading user research efforts
• Awareness of design trends across web and mobile devices
• Experience working with design systems
• Experience working in an Agile, lean UX, and mobile first environment
• Understanding the relationship of visual, interaction, and content disciplines
• Expert proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and/or Adobe Creative Suite
• Bachelor's or master's degree in design and/or HCI related field
