Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with peers and product managers to create compelling and seamless developer experience on the web application platform.
  • Architect and develop tooling and functionality to create delightful user experiences.
  • Deliver and iterate on features rapidly with a high level of control.
  • Write high-performance, reliable, testable, well-detailed code.
  • Grow with the support of your team and help others by providing thoughtful feedback.
  • Strive to build an inclusive team supporting diverse opinions.
  • Work closely with development teams to understand their workflows and needs, adapting quickly based on their feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years experience developing sophisticated web APIs and applications.
  • Web development experience with JavaScript/HTML/CSS, including ES6 and UI frameworks.
  • Interest in and ability to learn new technologies.
  • Ability to tackle problems sustainably, always striving to improve processes and learn.
  • Goal-oriented, especially in writing high-performance, reliable, and viable code.
  • Ability to work well in a distributed team environment across multiple geographies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Web Services/APIs (Node.js or similar framework) and Web Components: Custom Elements, Shadow DOM, ES Modules, Templates.
  • Experience building with Entity Component System architecture.
  • Proficiency with TypeScript and Webpacks.
  • A good sense of humor.
