About the position
The Sr. Weblogic Administrator position is a long-term contract role requiring extensive experience in managing Oracle WebLogic Server environments, particularly for large organizations such as Fortune 500 companies. The role involves ensuring high availability, load balancing, and integration with other Oracle products and third-party applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Redhat and Windows server environments, along with scripting skills for automation tasks.
Responsibilities
- Manage and administer Oracle WebLogic Server environments for Fortune 500 companies or government entities.
- Configure clustering, load balancing, and high availability for WebLogic Server.
- Integrate WebLogic Server with other Oracle products and third-party applications.
- Provide incident management and resolution support, including on-call support as needed.
- Perform quarterly updates of Certificate and WebLogic user passwords for specific accounts.
Requirements
- Minimum of ten (10) years experience as an Oracle WebLogic Server Administrator.
- Experience with WebLogic Version 12.2.1.3.0 or higher.
- 10+ years of experience with Redhat servers.
- 10+ years of experience working with Windows Servers.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as WLST, Jython, and Bash for automation tasks.
Nice-to-haves
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) - Oracle WebLogic Server 12c Administrator certification.
- Oracle WebLogic Server 12c: Administration I and II certifications.
