About The Position

The Systems Administrator role on the Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM) Enterprise Software (JES) program at Lockheed Martin involves supporting various IT systems in an agile environment. The position focuses on the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems, ensuring secure operations and protection against cyber threats. The role requires collaboration within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering rapid capabilities to the warfighter.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline from an accredited University with 4 or more years of professional experience, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Experience with Windows and Linux system administration.
• Experience in software practices and configuration management.
• Scripting experience (e.g. Bash, Ansible).
• Ability to maintain security clearance at Secret level.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with virtualization environments (e.g. VMWare), as well as containerization.
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy.
• Experience with WSUS, offline RHEL Repo server management.
• Experience with storage arrays (e.g. TRUENAS).
• Experience with PDQ deploy software.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various IT systems, including networking equipment.
• Manage day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices.
• Patch and harden Windows and Linux systems with Security personnel to protect against Cyber Threats.
