About the position

The Sr. Workday Application Analyst (PATT) is responsible for collaborating with business stakeholders to design and deliver HR digital processes and solutions that enhance operational excellence. This role involves the design, configuration, enhancement, implementation, and support of various HCM-related processes, particularly focusing on Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence. The analyst will leverage both functional and technical expertise to foster cross-functional relationships and ensure effective solution implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Workday, providing continuous input on process improvement and support.
  • Consult with HR, Benefits, Payroll Partners, and COEs to gather requirements and provide solutions.
  • Evaluate Workday capabilities to ensure continuous improvement of the platform.
  • Develop implementation strategies for new requests, including configuration, testing, documentation, and training.
  • Act as a primary contact for Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence, addressing user inquiries and providing customer service.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to assess Workday configuration feasibility and its impact on business processes.
  • Research and develop innovative solutions to support strategic initiatives.
  • Provide support for incident management, data requests, reporting, and analytics.
  • Assist in testing solutions, integrations, security, and audits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Seven years of job-related experience in a similar capacity.
  • Five years of Workday HCM experience, primarily in payroll within a healthcare environment.
  • Three years of experience configuring Workday payroll and time tracking systems according to organizational requirements.
  • Experience analyzing and translating functional specifications and change requests into Workday solutions.
  • Demonstrated proactive and independent problem-solving skills.
  • Experience designing, configuring, testing, deploying, and supporting Workday solutions in a complex environment.
  • Experience creating reports, dashboards, and understanding business process frameworks, integrations, and security.
