About the position

The Sr. Worldwide Specialist SA - GenAI position at AWS focuses on defining the future of Go to Market (GTM) strategies using generative AI. This role involves working closely with customers to address complex challenges, providing expert-level technical knowledge, and influencing product development through customer feedback. The specialist will lead a global team, partner with business development, and create enablement materials to support AWS solutions integration.

Responsibilities

• Represent the voice of the customer; bring customer feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap.
• Provide advanced technical knowledge to your domain aligned GTM teams to unblock our customers' largest and most critical business challenges.
• Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re: Invent, etc.
• Partner with Business Development teams to define the technical components of best in class GTM concepts, solutions, and initiatives.
• Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide. Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population, to help them understand how to integrate Amazon Web Services solutions into customer architectures.

Requirements

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 7+ years design/implementation/consulting experience of distributed applications
• 2+ Years of experience in Generative AI, Knowledge Bases, RAG Architecture
• Hands-on experience in building Intelligent virtual Assistance

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with end user or developer communities
• Experience influencing and building mind share convincingly with any audience. Confident and experienced in public speaking to large audiences.
• Experience with fundamentals of Security, Networking along with Authentication, Authorization and Access control.
• Experience with ingesting and processing structured and unstructured data at scale.
• Experience deploying production-grade solutions on public cloud platforms or Experience with Amazon Q Business.
