About the position

The Senior Xactly Admin & Compensation Analyst at Thermo Fisher Scientific plays a crucial role in managing the compensation process for the Pharma Services Group (PSG) Global Sales organization. This position involves partnering closely with the Director of Sales Operations to execute initiatives and projects that drive the sales organization towards success, aligning with defined strategies and objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales compensation and experience working with large datasets, demonstrating both analytical skills and business insight. This role is pivotal in supporting the governance and administration of quarterly and annual sales incentive compensation, which includes the administration and development of the Xactly Incent platform. In this position, the Senior Xactly Admin & Compensation Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the accurate configuration of commission plans, rules, and calculations within the Xactly Incent platform. They will maintain and validate the integrity of Salesforce (SFDC) sales data to ensure the accuracy of commission calculations. Additionally, the analyst will support the design and documentation of commission plans, produce and analyze reports related to commissions to monitor performance, and identify relevant trends. The role also involves providing valuable insights and recommendations based on thorough analysis of commission data, facilitating training sessions for new hires, and offering continuous education to existing team members regarding the commission structure and processes. Furthermore, the analyst will address and resolve inquiries from the sales team concerning commission calculations or payment discrepancies, ensuring a smooth and efficient compensation process.

Responsibilities

  • Support the administration and development of the Xactly Incent platform ensuring accurate configuration of commission plans, rules, and calculations.
  • Ensure the accuracy of commission calculations by maintaining and validating the integrity of SFDC sales data.
  • Provide support in the design and documentation of commission plans.
  • Produce and analyze reports related to commissions to monitor performance and identify relevant trends.
  • Offer valuable insights and recommendations based on thorough analysis of commission data.
  • Facilitate training sessions for new hires and provide continuous education to existing team members on the commission structure and process.
  • Address and resolve inquiries from the sales team regarding commission calculations or payment discrepancies.

Requirements

  • Requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and an advanced degree or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 4+ years of prior experience with Xactly Incent Platform.
  • A minimum of 4+ years of prior experience in commission administration or sales operation.
  • Global experience / ability to work across various regions.
  • Must be exceptionally detail oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact across organizational levels and functions.
  • Able to work independently, multi-task, and maintain focus on the goals at hand.
