About the position

The Sr. z/OS Systems Programmer, Vice President role at The Judge Group Inc. involves maintaining and supporting z/OS and third-party software in a hybrid work environment. This position requires extensive experience in MVS systems programming and a deep understanding of mainframe technologies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support z/OS and third-party software.
• Manage and optimize mainframe systems in a multi-system environment.
• Ensure the performance and reliability of parallel sysplex and coupling facilities.
• Oversee I/O generation and management using HCM & HCD.
• Implement and manage JES2, GRS, CA1, CA7, and CA11 systems.

Requirements

• 15+ years of MVS systems programming experience in a multi-system environment.
• In-depth experience with parallel sysplex and coupling facilities.
• Strong knowledge of I/O generation, HCM & HCD, z/OS, JES2, GRS, CA1, CA7, and CA11.
• Understanding of mainframe storage technology, including EMC and replication technologies.
