About the position
The SRE Architect at Infosys Limited will play a crucial role in business process consulting, focusing on defining problems, proposing solutions, and guiding teams through project processes. This position involves significant travel and requires expertise in Site Reliability Engineering, DevSecOps, and cloud technologies. The architect will contribute to proposal development, client training, and internal capability building, while shaping consulting solutions that meet the evolving needs of clients in a global landscape.
Responsibilities
- Define problems and propose solutions in business process consulting.
- Guide teams on project processes and deliverables.
- Contribute to proposal development and client training.
- Detail project scope and create implementation roadmaps.
- Design and implement end-to-end monitoring solutions, including SLOs and SLIs.
- Implement DevSecOps solutions and provide consulting.
- Design and implement infrastructure as code solutions.
- Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Conduct as-is state analyses and provide recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 7 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering and DevSecOps implementation.
- Experience in app architecture, infrastructure architecture, and database architecture.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing observability solutions.
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Knowledge of scripting languages and automation tools.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in platform development.
- Experience implementing SRE practices for complex systems involving COTS products such as SAP, Salesforce, Oracle EBS, and Adobe products.
