About the position

The SRE Lead Consultant at Infosys is responsible for leading a team to deliver measurable results while ensuring the operational readiness of platform changes. This role involves collaborating with Agile Scrum/Kanban teams, updating dashboards, and partnering with Product Owners to maintain system health during releases. The position emphasizes continuous improvement and the opportunity to work with top talent in the industry to create high-quality solutions for clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to achieve objectives and deliver measurable monthly results.
• Ensure full coverage across Agile Scrum/Kanban teams executing platform changes.
• Prepare the SRE/OPS team to support platform changes as per user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Update and review dashboards, alerts, and monitors with Product Owners before launch.
• Partner with Product Owners to ensure system health and supportability during releases.
• Respond to issues promptly and perform root cause analysis to implement preventive measures.
• Drive improvements in productivity, software quality, and reliability.
• Coach and mentor team members, identifying training and growth opportunities.
• Provide advanced Incident Management and Problem Management support to teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.
• At least 7 years of experience in Information Technology.
• 3 years of experience in Kanban.
• Hands-on experience in creating dashboards using Splunk or New Relic, or equivalent tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Dynatrace, Kibana, Grafana.
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, presentation, documentation, troubleshooting, and collaborative problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

• At least 5+ years leading transformational change in SRE OPS.
• Knowledge of defining and monitoring system quality measures, including SLO and SLA.
• Experience in collecting performance data, analyzing, troubleshooting, and tuning.
