About the position

The SSIS ETL Developer position is focused on developing and maintaining ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and other related technologies. The role requires strong expertise in SQL and data visualization tools, particularly Tableau, to ensure efficient data handling and reporting. The developer will be responsible for deploying SSIS packages, optimizing query performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL processes using SSIS.
• Write complex SQL queries for data manipulation and reporting.
• Deploy SSIS packages using git check-in and set up environmental variables.
• Create and maintain jobs in SQL Agent for SSIS package execution.
• Debug and improve query performance for optimal efficiency.
• Create, deploy, and maintain reports using Talend.
• Utilize version control tools like Team Foundation for code management.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in ETL development with SSIS.
• More than 5 years of experience with Tableau for data visualization.
• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries and TSQL.
• Experience with SSRS and Talend for reporting and data integration.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform cross-functional analysis.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Transact-SQL and stored procedures.
• Familiarity with code control/versioning using Team Foundation.
