About the position
The Stacker position at Tyson Foods involves retrieving pallets, stacking cases according to product codes, verifying dates, and assembling boxes. The role requires adherence to safety and food safety standards while performing physical tasks that include lifting and stacking products efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Retrieve pallets from the stack.
- Stack cases on pallets according to product codes.
- Verify dates on cases and assemble boxes.
- Maintain accurate case counts.
- Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP, and SQF requirements.
- Perform any other work as assigned by the supervisor.
- Rotate through all positions as applicable.
Requirements
- Ability to flex/grip with wrists/hands.
- Ability to walk, bend, squat, stand, and lift repetitively up to 40 lb. boxes from floor level up to a height of 7 ft.
- Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, etc.) with the use of a calculator.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience in a similar role at Tyson Foods (max of two previous employments considered).
