We have everything you need for a dynamic career! We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our growing Accounting & Auditing team!

Responsibilities

  • Understanding the needs and expectations of our clients, in regard to their business and industry, and accounting and control systems
  • Performing substantive tests and tests of internal controls to identify and resolve accounting or reporting issues
  • Analytical review of reports and confidential client information
  • Preparation of financial statements
  • Attend training courses assigned by the Firm and work with Performance Coach to build continuing education plan
  • Begin personal professional development program to continuously improve technical and interpersonal skills
  • Begin using Firm resources to find answers to issues encountered in tax compliance and other engagements
  • Take initiative to assist others in completing assignments whenever possible
  • Seek out feedback and view it as an opportunity to learn

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other financial areas preferred
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently on tasks and projects; while also collaborating with peers in a team-oriented environment
  • Motivated to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Working toward the successful completion of the CPA exam (or plans to start soon after employment)
