About the position
We are seeking a detail-oriented, hardworking, and motivated Staff Accountant to join our small CPA firm located in Industry, CA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of public accounting experience and will be responsible for providing exceptional tax, accounting, and advisory services to our clients, which include both businesses and individuals. The position requires fluency in both English and Mandarin, and the candidate should be able to work effectively in a friendly and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Process incorporation and dissolution documents
- Bookkeeping for clients
- Payroll processing
- Preparation of payroll and sales tax returns
- Preparation of income tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Contacting tax agencies to resolve client issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Previous experience in public accounting is required
- Must be fluent in English AND Mandarin
- Experience with QuickBooks and ProSeries preferred
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software
- Ability to manage and prioritize duties and meet deadlines
