About the position

Join our dynamic team in Fishers, IN as a Staff Accountant on a long-term contract basis. This role offers an opportunity to enhance your accounting skills in a vibrant work environment, focusing on Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, and General Ledger management.

Responsibilities

• Accurately handle customer credit applications, keeping all information current and reliable.
• Perform detailed bank reconciliations and maintain spotless customer credit records.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable tasks, ensuring prompt payments and swiftly addressing any discrepancies.
• Manage general ledger entries and lead month-end close processes with accuracy and efficiency.
• Leverage powerful software tools like NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to manage and optimize financial transactions.
• Monitor customer accounts diligently and take proactive measures to maintain healthy financial relationships.
• Partner with fellow team members to ensure smooth and accurate financial operations across the board.
• Continuously enhance your knowledge and skills in key accounting areas.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Experience with Bank Reconciliations.
• Familiarity with General Ledger management.
• Ability to create accurate Journal Entries.
• Experience with Month End Close procedures.
• Proficiency in using NetSuite software.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
