About the position

The Staff Accountant position at Arcadian Infracom, Inc. is designed to support the accounting and finance team in various departmental tasks, including both routine processes and special analyses. This role is crucial for maintaining financial accuracy and compliance within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Prepare financial statements and other reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of budgets and forecasts.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Conduct account analysis and reconciliations, including bank statements and inter-company accounts.
• Assist with audits, including preparing documentation and supporting external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable activities.
• Process payroll and employee expense reports.
• Support continuous improvement efforts in the finance department by streamlining processes and enhancing efficiencies.
• Other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or a related field required.
• 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment required.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting required.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel required.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills required.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy required.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team required.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal required.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with ERP systems preferred.
• Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial regulations preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or working towards certification is a plus.
