About the position

The Staff Accountant position at Robert Half involves supporting financial operations for local clients in the San Fernando Valley, particularly in the Real Estate/Property Management sector. Responsibilities

• Support the annual budgeting process and assist in the development of financial forecasts.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Provide support during internal and external audits, including preparing schedules and gathering documentation.
• Analyze financial data and identify trends or discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Requirements

• Prior experience in accounting, specifically in Real Estate/Property Management.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when necessary.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
• High level of integrity and ethical standards.
