About the position
The Entry Level Staff Accountant will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial documents, overseeing accounting procedures, advising on finance matters, preparing tax documents, and keeping stakeholders informed through regular reporting. This hybrid position requires a bachelor's degree and offers an opportunity to develop skills in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and reviewing financial documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Overseeing accounting procedures, including reconciling bank statements and balancing ledgers.
- Advising on general finance matters such as budgeting and cash flow management.
- Preparing tax documents and verifying payroll.
- Keeping stakeholders informed by writing and presenting reports to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
- 2-3 years of full-cycle accounting experience required.
- Experience with accounting software, specifically MS Dynamics.
Nice-to-haves
- CPA preferred or CPA eligible.
