This role involves providing tax, audit, and accounting services primarily for closely held private companies, individuals, and not-for-profit organizations in the Pittsburgh area. Responsibilities

• Preparation of corporate, partnership tax returns
• Preparation of individual tax returns
• Preparation of financial statements
• Perform tax research
• Assist clients with IRS tax notices and audits
• Assist clients with day-to-day accounting issues
• Assist and train clients on accounting software

Requirements

• 5 years public accounting experience
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting
• Candidate eligible to sit for CPA certification
• Working knowledge of Creative Solutions Suite of software
• 2+ years experience in preparation of corporate, partnership, and individual income tax returns
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks
