About the position

We are offering a short-term part-time contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant to join our team based in Johns Island, South Carolina. The role focuses on ensuring the accuracy and integrity of accounting data through various tasks such as bank account reconciliation, managing general ledgers, and handling month-end close procedures.

Responsibilities

• Reconciling multiple bank accounts, including domestic and international ones
• Managing all aspects of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ensuring accurate and timely management of all General Ledger activities
• Handling Journal Entries as part of the accounting routine
• Overseeing the Month End Close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Utilizing QuickBooks for various accounting tasks
• Performing Account Reconciliation to affirm the accuracy of transactions
• Conducting Credit Card Reconciliation tasks
• Demonstrating proficient use of Quickbooks Online for optimal financial management.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) management and processing
• Competency in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) with precision
• Familiarity with conducting Bank Reconciliations for financial accuracy
• Expertise in maintaining and managing the General Ledger
• Ability to prepare and post Journal Entries in a timely manner
• Experience in executing Month End Close procedures accurately
• Proficient in using QuickBooks for various accounting tasks
• Strong skills in Account Reconciliation for financial integrity
• Experience with Bank Account Reconciliation to ensure fiscal accuracy
• Ability to perform Credit Card Reconciliation to maintain financial records
• Proficiency in using Quickbooks Online for accounting tasks and record keeping
