About the position

Image Specialty Partners is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Staff Accountant to join our dynamic and growing team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for processing accounts payable in a fast-paced environment, performing account reconciliations, preparing financial reports, and assisting with audits.

Responsibilities

• Process full-cycle accounts payable including verifying GL coding and ensuring all approvals have been obtained prior to paying.
• Reconcile vendor statements and work with vendors to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain fixed asset ledgers and properly record additions and disposals.
• Assist with month-end close processes, including bank account reconciliations, balance sheet account reconciliations and posting monthly journal entries.
• Perform fluctuation analysis on income statement accounts.
• Prepare financial reports for management.
• Use and administer company practices, standards, procedures, tools and methodologies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Full-cycle accounts payable experiences.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting/finance.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Docs.
• Experience with Sage Intacct and BILL.com is required.
• Experience with Alteryx is highly desired.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity and ethical standard in handling financial information and confidential data.
• Prior dental industry experience is a plus but not required.
• Must be able to reliably report to our Patient Care Center in West Sacramento, CA for scheduled shift.
• Must demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality.
