The Staff Accountant position at Robert Half involves supporting financial operations for local clients in the manufacturing industry. Responsibilities

• Support the annual budgeting process and assist in the development of financial forecasts to guide business decisions.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Provide support during internal and external audits, including preparing schedules, gathering documentation, and addressing auditor inquiries.

Requirements

• Prior experience in accounting, with specific experience in the manufacturing industry preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required. CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends or discrepancies.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping and analysis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, while also being able to work independently and take initiative when necessary.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• High level of integrity and ethical standards, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional standards of conduct.
