The Staff Accountant position at a growing logistics company in Miami, Florida, involves managing various accounting functions including month-end journal entries, accounts payable and receivable, and account reconciliations. Responsibilities

• Oversees Accounts Payable and Receivable.
• Perform daily accounting processes including managing GL accounts, reconciling ticket accounts, and processing original accounting entries and creating PL form for analysis.
• Maintains records of all financial documents with appropriate supporting material; update records as necessary.
• Prepare account reconciliations for prepaids, accrued expenses, fixed assets and various other accounts.
• Coding invoices, setting up new accounts, reconciling accounts, and closing the monthly books.
• Participate in the month-end close process.
• Reconciling bank accounts at least monthly.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting.
• Solid understanding of debits and credits.
• Ability to assist in financial reports.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Excel.
