About the position

The Staff Administrator for Payroll/Benefits in HR is responsible for managing payroll processes and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role involves maintaining accurate records, processing salary changes, and providing quality customer service within a tier one automotive supplier environment.

Responsibilities

  • Records, maintains, checks, and balances time cards and processes salary changes for accurate calculation of employees' pay.
  • Complies and calculates pay including deductions, taxes, incentive earnings, overtime, sick pay, and holiday pay.
  • Compiles and calculates special reports computing and compiling figures involving complex calculations such as employee benefits.
  • Prepares input for automated payroll system and posts information to manual records.
  • Assures compliance and maintains a high level of confidentiality regarding payroll and HR matters.
  • Manages payroll processing and 401k account management, addressing questions and concerns from employees.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in administrative work, specifically in human resources and payroll.
  • Knowledge of payroll accounting and benefits administration.
  • Familiarity with ADP-HR systems and organizational skills.
