About the position

The Staff Analog Circuit/Board Designer will be part of a design team responsible for creating low noise analog circuit boards tailored to meet customer specifications. This role involves conceptual design, prototyping, modeling, and simulating circuit performance, as well as overseeing PCB layout and participating in system integration and validation after hardware construction.

Responsibilities

• Design low noise analog circuit boards to meet customer requirements.
• Develop conceptual designs and prototype critical circuits.
• Model and simulate circuit performance.
• Select appropriate components and create schematics.
• Oversee PCB layout and design processes.
• Participate in system integration and validation of hardware.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD Interim Secret Security Clearance.
• BS Degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience designing low noise analog circuits and circuit cards.
• Understanding of sampling theory, signal integrity, cross talk, and EMI mitigation.
• Familiarity with analog circuit simulation tools such as SPICE.
• Experience with PCB schematic capture and layout tools like Mentor Graphics, Cadence, or Zuken.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and debugging skills, including the use of oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
