About the position

The Staff Analyst, Health - Product Designer position at Housing for Health (HFH) involves providing analytical support to clinical teams focused on housing and improving the health of clients experiencing homelessness. The role includes data collection and analysis, strategic reporting, tool development, and project management, all aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of HFH's clinical services.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates discussions with HFH teams and external partners to investigate data sources and build queries for data exportation.
  • Collaborates with HFH clinical providers to identify, track, and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Supports statistical analyses of health data for HFH clinical teams, constructing a comprehensive view of process and outcome metrics.
  • Develops tailored reports and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders, presenting key insights and metrics.
  • Generates ad-hoc reports providing snapshot views of program status and supports Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) projects.
  • Acts as a thought-partner for the clinical teams, finding creative and effective ways to reflect the value of HFH clinical programs and services.
  • Facilitates the design, build, and maintenance of analytical support tools to be used by HFH clinical staff members and external stakeholders.
  • Conducts regular quality assurance checks to maintain data quality and consistency.
  • Provides training and technical assistance on data management and data tools to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Convenes and facilitates discussions with stakeholders to design and implement tools and reports.
  • Supports the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and analysis tools.

Requirements

  • Three or more years of highly complex administrative experience in the health, housing, social services, or related sectors.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting data insights to stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R, Sas Viya).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Ability to work with large datasets and handle complex data queries.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
