About the position

The Staff Analyst, Revenue Analytics & Strategy role at Hover focuses on leveraging data to drive strategic decisions across various Go-To-Market functions, including Sales, Marketing, and Customer Operations. The position requires an autonomous problem solver who can tackle complex business challenges, conduct meaningful analyses, and drive alignment across teams. The analyst will work closely with senior leaders, contributing to the company's growth by providing insights and recommendations based on data-driven narratives.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leaders to understand and prioritize strategic priorities.
  • Scope and execute projects independently and effectively.
  • Build data-driven narratives to answer key business questions.
  • Align teams to make informed decisions based on data insights.
  • Lead cross-functional projects and facilitate progress across multiple work streams.
  • Celebrate and promote a culture of data-driven decision making across the company.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in data analytics, business/sales operations, management consulting, or similar functions.
  • Deep experience with advanced SQL for complex analyses.
  • Proficiency in a leading BI/Dashboarding platform (e.g., Tableau).
  • Experience in framing and building effective storytelling resources (decks, documents, etc.).
  • Ability to prioritize and communicate effectively to senior audiences.
  • Experience leading group projects and enabling progress across multiple work streams.
  • Strong revenue acumen and ability to synthesize large amounts of information quickly.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the home improvement or technology industry.
  • Familiarity with AI and interactive 3D modeling technologies.
