As a Staff Integration Engineer in the Business Applications team, you will be responsible for building critical integrations at a global scale and delivering a world-class experience for the UberEats Business. This role is instrumental in architecting and implementing robust MuleSoft-based integrations. Your responsibilities extend from leading engineering best practices to being a thought partner on the future of Salesforce integrations. Your solutions will have a significant impact on Uber's results in areas of user growth, revenue, and global expansion. This role will require expertise in the integrations space in order to lead collaboration across teams and sites within the Salesforce integration community. You will design and implement API and robust integrations using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform to connect Salesforce with various systems, applications, and data sources, including internal and third-party cloud solutions. Providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members will be a key part of your role, as you share best practices and foster a culture of continuous learning. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop efficient integration solutions to meet organizational goals. Leading the development of critical integrations using the MuleSoft platform and APIs, you will ensure scalability, performance, and security. Customizing MuleSoft integrations to align with specific project requirements and continuously optimizing existing integrations for enhanced performance will also be part of your responsibilities. You will diagnose and resolve integration issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Staying abreast of the latest technology trends in integration and the MuleSoft ecosystem, you will recommend improvements and innovations. Additionally, you will create comprehensive documentation for integration solutions, including design specifications, deployment guides, and operational support documentation. Collaborating with internal teams, stakeholders, and third-party vendors will be essential to ensure seamless integration processes, and you will participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
