About the position

As a Staff Application Engineer-RF at Infineon, you will provide technical customer support for RF products, focusing on the Consumer, Computing & Communication sales segment. This role involves direct customer interaction, lab testing, and the creation of technical documentation to facilitate the design-in process for RF solutions. You will also be responsible for generating training materials for internal teams and conducting research to understand market trends and system challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provide design-in technical customer support for Infineon RF products such as Switches, LNAs, Antenna tuners, WiFi/BT connectivity solutions, and ESD diodes.
• Answer email queries and conduct calls with customers to address their technical needs.
• Perform lab bench testing to debug customer issues and validate product performance.
• Conduct competitive benchmarking and simulations to demonstrate expected system performance to customers.
• Create collateral materials such as Application Notes, User Guides, and White papers to support the design-in process.
• Generate and deliver technical training material for FAE & Sales teams to enable cross-selling of Infineon products.
• Research and study application areas within the Consumer, Computing & Communication sales segment to develop a holistic understanding of market trends and opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3-5 years of work experience in the semiconductor industry or consumer electronics ecosystem focusing on RF products/solutions.
• Prior customer support experience in a technical role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with lab testing and customer debugging activities.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity in the RF space.
