About the position

The Staff Application Engineer role focuses on providing technical support and solutions for partners in the semiconductor industry, particularly in the Server and Hyperscale Computing markets. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and interpersonal skills to assist customers in overcoming challenges related to IP and Subsystem products. Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers in the Server platform and Semiconductor domain.
• Assist customers in overcoming technical challenges related to IP and Subsystem products.
• Utilize strong technical aptitude in chipset, interconnectors, pre-silicon verification, and CPU architecture.
• Engage in hands-on work with HDLs such as Verilog, System-Verilog, or VHDL.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in the Server platform and/or Semiconductor domain.
• Experience working directly with customers to resolve challenges.
• Strong technical aptitude with chipset, interconnectors, pre-silicon verification, and CPU architecture and SOC designs.
• Proficiency in HDLs such as Verilog, System-Verilog, or VHDL.

Nice-to-haves

• ASIC industry experience.
• Familiarity with one or more AMBA bus protocols.
• Experience with ARM architecture.
• Knowledge of PCIe, CXL, CCIX.
• Ability to recreate and debug RTL issues.
• Scripting experience in Python or Perl.
