About the position

The Staff Application Engineer will be a key player in the Power MOSFET Product Line at Renesas, focusing on the adoption and integration of Renesas products in data center environments. This role involves working closely with customers to understand their technical needs, providing expert guidance, and ensuring successful implementation of solutions, particularly in the areas of MV and LV Silicon MOSFETs and various power supply topologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with data center customers, acting as their primary technical contact.
  • Provide in-depth technical support and troubleshooting for Renesas products, including MV, LV, and GaN Silicon MOSFETs.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for customers to enhance their understanding and utilization of Renesas products.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including application notes, user guides, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with customers to design and implement customized solutions that leverage Renesas technologies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor products to provide strategic insights and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and 8+ years of experience, or a Master's Degree and 6+ years of experience.
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably within the data center, power supply, MOSFET, or Switching IC industry.
  • Strong knowledge of microcontrollers, power management, SoC products, and MV/LV Silicon MOSFETs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, as well as independently.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with data center infrastructure and operations is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese.
