About The Position
The California Energy Commission is seeking a Staff Biologist (Energy Commission Specialist II) to work in the Siting, Transmission and Environmental Protection Division. This role involves performing complex technical analyses related to biological resources and natural resource conservation for energy facility projects. The Specialist will act as a subject matter expert, providing technical expertise to evaluate environmental impacts and ensure compliance with relevant laws such as the Warren-Alquist Act and CEQA. The position may also involve leading teams of technical specialists on complex projects.
