Responsibilities

• Process all digital invoices for payment and manage digital payments to creditors.
• Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure all bills and payments are accounted for.
• Verify and investigate discrepancies by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly statements.
• Generate reports detailing accounts payable status and maintain digital vendor information files.
• Reconcile credit card statements monthly with high accuracy.
• Support annual audits and funding source monitoring activities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably within a nonprofit organization.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, Excel, and Microsoft Teams.
• Strong understanding of nonprofit accounting principles, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Experience reporting on federal grants is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• High ethical standards and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
