About the position

The Staff Brand and Marketing Designer at Mailchimp is a senior role within the Wink creative team, responsible for leading design initiatives that enhance the brand's identity and marketing strategies. This position requires a highly creative individual who can inspire and guide design teams to produce exceptional work while pushing the boundaries of design. The designer will engage with strategic dimensions of branding and marketing, ensuring that all design outputs align with business objectives and resonate with target audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead small to medium-sized projects and work-streams on larger projects.
  • Craft clear and comprehensive project briefs and strategy plans.
  • Translate research, market trends, consumer behavior, and audience engagement into actionable plans and roadmaps.
  • Create visually stunning and compelling design systems that meet business objectives across various mediums.
  • Elevate the quality and effectiveness of brand assets and guidelines.
  • Educate and communicate the proper use of design assets across various platforms.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-disciplinary design teams to build systemic branding.
  • Push the Mailchimp design forward with innovative creative ideas.
  • Provide constructive direction and guidance to designers working with you.
  • Deliver work that enhances the brand's creative presence.
