About the position

The Staff Content Designer, AI Readiness - Structure, Labeling & Annotation at Intuit is responsible for delivering next-generation AI-first content experiences across the QuickBooks ecosystem. This role involves collaboration with product and content designers, project managers, engineers, and design researchers to enhance user experience and content management in the context of AI. The position requires a strong understanding of content curation, technical writing, and AI technologies, aiming to create proactive and intelligent solutions for customer success.

Responsibilities

  • Drive AI-first innovation in content creation, knowledge harvesting, and management.
  • Contribute to an AI-first strategy and roadmap for internal creators and small businesses.
  • Accelerate experimentation with Generative AI models and tools for content creation and curation.
  • Review and analyze product and domain-specific content to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Support optimized structure and annotation of content for large language models.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, developers, and content creators on content-related needs.
  • Maintain understanding of industry trends and best practices for content curation.
  • Contribute to the improvement of the content management system and processes.
  • Ensure all content adheres to company guidelines and brand identity.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Linguistics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-10 years of experience with content curation, technical writing, AI (NLP, ML, GenAI), and computational linguistics.
  • Significant experience with content management systems and digital publishing tools.
  • Strong knowledge of AI/LLMs, including training and output evaluation.
  • Exceptional ability to think across various content types and personalize experiences.
  • Strong research and analytical skills to interpret complex information.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects.
  • Proactive and creative problem-solving skills with adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Understanding of SEO, taxonomies/ontologies, and content systems for improved navigation.
  • Command of writing fundamentals, including style, grammar, and information architecture.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with modular, structured content (e.g., DITA, WP Gutenberg blocks).
  • Good understanding of help systems, design systems, usability, and accessibility.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
