About the position

The Staff Content Designer at StubHub will lead the content design efforts for the Core Experience team, focusing on creating a seamless and engaging user experience for fans and sellers on the platform. This role involves establishing content standards, driving content-led initiatives, and building a high-performing content team. The designer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure clarity, consistency, and user empathy in all product communications, ultimately enhancing the live event experience for millions of users.

Responsibilities

• Define content needs and opportunities through product audits and drive initiatives to establish content design systems such as style guides, content libraries, and term lists.
• Set the content strategy, write, edit, and test compelling in-product language for critical product initiatives.
• Exercise strong product thinking and influence team vision, strategy, and product decisions.
• Develop scalable processes and durable tools, including AI, to empower teams to deliver top-tier content autonomously.
• Improve our localization process to ensure excellence in every language, elevating product experiences worldwide.
• Coach and guide other designers to grow their skills and elevate their work.
• Partner with key stakeholders across the company to ensure a cohesive narrative and messaging strategy.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in content design, content strategy, or UX writing.
• Online portfolio of relevant work samples.
• Significant experience developing information architecture, content design systems, and messaging frameworks that scale.
• Proven track record of delivering product experiences with significant customer and business impact.
• Proven ability to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams at all stages of the product development cycle.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, iterative product development process.
