About The Position
At Northrop Grumman, we are seeking a Senior Software Tester who will play a crucial role in testing, maintaining, and enhancing complex software systems. These systems include processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. This role involves conducting multidisciplinary research and collaborating with equipment designers and hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, testing, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for both product and commercial software. The Senior Software Tester will also be expected to perform research and manage requirements in addition to their software testing duties. This position requires a strong understanding of software design and development processes, as well as the ability to execute test procedures for software components effectively.
