About the position

The position involves leading the Cybersecurity Continuous Control Assessment program at Teladoc Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and enhancing the company's cybersecurity posture, ensuring the security of systems and data against potential threats. This role requires collaboration with various teams to align cybersecurity controls with organizational goals and regulatory requirements, while also providing expert advice on best practices in cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement an effective process to identify control risks and mitigate the identified risk.
  • Perform evidence-based evaluations of cybersecurity controls to determine effectiveness of controls.
  • Conduct targeted control assessments against specific applications or systems as required.
  • Collaborate with Cybersecurity and Technology teams to ensure alignment of cybersecurity controls with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide expert advice and recommendations on cybersecurity control best practices.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments, trends, and technologies in cybersecurity to improve assessment methodologies.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of compliance documentation, including risk assessments and compliance reports.
  • Assist in responding to compliance inquiries, assessments, and audits from external stakeholders.
  • Establish relationships with partner teams and leverage cross-functional coordination skills to drive program objectives.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to increase scalability, accountability, and maturity of the continuous assessment program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant cybersecurity regulations, standards, and frameworks.
  • Experience conducting compliance assessments, audits, and gap analyses.
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Experience with compliance management tools and technologies is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
