About the position

The Staff Cybersecurity Analyst, Compliance at Teladoc Health is responsible for leading the Cybersecurity Continuous Control Assessment program. This role focuses on evaluating and enhancing the organization's cybersecurity posture, ensuring the security of systems and data against potential threats. The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams to align cybersecurity controls with organizational goals and regulatory requirements, while also contributing to compliance documentation and responding to external assessments.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement an effective process to identify control risks and mitigate the identified risk.
  • Perform evidence-based evaluations of cybersecurity controls to determine effectiveness of controls.
  • Perform targeted control assessments against specific applications or systems, as required.
  • Work closely with Cybersecurity and Technology teams to ensure cybersecurity controls align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Offer expert advice and recommendations on cybersecurity control best practices.
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments, trends, and technologies in the field of cybersecurity to continuously improve assessment methodologies and techniques.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of compliance documentation, including risk assessments, control frameworks, and compliance reports.
  • Assist in responding to compliance inquiries, assessments, and audits from external stakeholders, such as regulators, auditors, and clients.
  • Establish relationships with partner teams within the company and leverage cross-functional coordination skills to drive program objectives.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives with stakeholders to increase scalability, accountability, and maturity of the continuous assessment program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant cybersecurity regulations, standards, and frameworks.
  • Experience conducting compliance assessments, audits, and gap analyses.
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Experience with compliance management tools and technologies is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
