About the position

The Staff Data Scientist role at Intuit is a senior position within the Customer Success Data and Analytics team, focused on leveraging analytics and AI to enhance customer experiences. The role involves leading complex projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering data-driven insights that drive meaningful business outcomes. The candidate will also work closely with the Virtual Expert Platform organization to innovate customer interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex, cross-functional projects to deliver actionable insights that support decision-making and business outcomes.
  • Analyze and measure the effectiveness of conversation platforms such as chat, voice, and video, providing recommendations to enhance customer engagement.
  • Partner with AI teams to integrate AI/GenAI capabilities that improve business processes and drive key outcomes.
  • Oversee data architecture, design, instrumentation, and quality initiatives across business units, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and robust data systems.
  • Utilize advanced BI tools and frameworks to drive insights and recommendations, and design A/B testing to evaluate business strategies.
  • Guide junior analysts and influence senior leaders by delivering compelling data stories, recommendations, and scalable solutions for critical business initiatives.
  • Work closely with business partners to develop and implement data-driven strategies and tools that align with company goals.

Requirements

  • 7-10+ years of experience in data and analytics, with strong leadership in data architecture and strategy.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, big data technologies (e.g., Redshift, Spark, Hive, BigQuery), and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, Dash).
  • Extensive experience with AI/GenAI tools for automating tasks and building custom implementations.
  • Strong communication and project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver successful outcomes.
  • Experience designing and executing A/B tests and using data to drive business insights and innovation.
